St. Peter’s coffee social

‘Birds of Prey’ at Tyson Library
Birds of prey from Hardy Lake will be coming to Tyson Library to present a program on July 22. They will be bringing live birds. LifeLine Screening at Milan
There will be a LifeLine Screening on July 26 at St. Charles Catholic Church located at 213 W. Ripley St. in Milan. Health screenings check for HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, diabetes, kidney and thyroid function, etc. Screenings are affordable. There is wheelchair access and free parking is available. Free music returns to Osgood’s brick street
The Osgood Beautification Committee has announced that for the second year there will be music on Ripley St. (the brick street). The event will be held the second Tuesday of June, July and August from 7 to 9 p.m. “Borrowed Time Band” will play in June, “650 North” in July and “The Keith Swinney Band” in August. Bring your own chairs and plan to dine in one of the local restaurants.

Support group in Batesville
A family support group will be offered for individuals with addictions or substance abuse issues on the third Wednesday of the month at the Better Options office in Batesville (corner of SR 46 and Tekulve Rd.) from 6 – 7:30 p.m. There is no charge.

Senior meals in Dillsboro
LifeTime Resources has opened a Senior Nutrition Activity Center at Dillsboro Village Apartments in Dillsboro. Individuals who are 60 or over, and their spouse regardless of age, can enjoy activities and for a donation receive a hot meal Monday through Friday. Christian support group meeting
“Celebrate Recovery” a new Christian-based support group for those with addictions or life issues is held every Tuesday evening at the Bridge of Hope on SR 129/US 50 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. for fellowship.

Free Hep C and HIV testing in Batesville
