Ladies Aid appreciation soup supper
The ladies at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ is hosting an appreciation soup supper on Thursday, April 19 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This is a way to thank those who have attended and supported their Coffee Socials throughout the years. There is no charge. Please join them.

April 20
Milan Food Pantry fundraiser dinner
A fundraiser dinner to benefit the Milan Community Food Pantry will be held Friday, April 20, from 5-7 p.m. at the Milan United Methodist Church. Event is open to everyone. Free will donation.

April 21
St. Nicholas Turtle Soup supper
St. Nicholas Church will hold their annual turtle soup supper on Saturday, April 21 from 4-8 p.m. Carryouts available. Games, raffle and beer gardens. St. Nicholas is located at 6461 E. St. Nicholas Dr., Sunman.

April 23
SE Right to Life meeting
The SE IN Right to Life will meet Monday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ on Jarvis Drive in Versaillles. The business meeting is followed by a time of educational discussion and fellowship.

April 25
Madcap Puppets to appear in Osgood
The Madcap Puppets will be making an appearance on Wednesday, April 25, 6:30 p.m. at the Damm Theatre in Osgood. The puppets will present “The Case of the Kidnapped Backpack”.

April 28
Photography class at Tyson Library
A photography class sponsored by the Tyson Library. This month’s class will take place at the Schimmerhorn Shelter at the Versailles State Park. Clint and Chrisanne Giltner will show how to photograph Wildflowers. Visit or call the library at 812-689-5894 to sign up today.
Delaware UMC Chicken Dinner
The Delaware United Methodist Church will have a chicken dinner on Saturday, April 28. Serving from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Delaware Community Building.

St. John’s Lutheran Church Smorgasbord
St. John’s Lutheran Church of Napoleon will have their monthly smorgasbord dinner on Thursday, May 3. Serving is 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome. Carryouts will be available. Per person charge.

St. Maurice Catholic Church Rummage Sale
A rummage sale will be held at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon on May 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and May 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. $2.00 bag day on Saturday. Located in the parish hall on Hwy. 229 in Napoleon.

Golden Gate Community Choir practice
The Golden Gate Community Choir will be practicing at the Osgood United Methodist Church every Sunday at 2 p.m. beginning January 21. The Easter Cantata will be Palm Sunday, March 25, at 7 p.m. at the Damm Theatre in Osgood.

Circle of Love grief recovery meetings

Support group in Batesville
A family support group for individuals with addictions or substance abuse issues will be offered on the third Wednesday of the month at Better Options in Batesville (corner of SR 46 and Tekulve Rd.) from 6 – 7:30 p.m. There is no charge.

Historical Society archive hours

Bridge of Hope food pantry
Feed My Sheep Food Pantry at the Bridge of Hope in Milan serves the community on the second Monday of every month Doors are open from 6 – 8 p.m. A valid ID is required. For more information call 812-654-2350.

Christian support group meeting

“Celebrate Recovery” a new Christian-based support group for those with addictions or life issues is held every Tuesday evening at the Bridge of Hope on SR 129/US 50 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. for fellowship.

Milan Food Pantry
The Milan Food Pantry will be open every Tuesday morning from 9 – 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday evening from 5 – 6 p.m.

Back Door Friends of Faith distribution
A monthly non-food distribution for those in need will be held on the third Saturday each month at Tyson United Methodist Annex located at 107 N. Adams St. in Versailles. From 9:30-10:30 a.m. Serves anyone in the South Ripley and JCD school districts. Please bring a picture I.D. for identification.
