ORV Ride at LVFG

Laughery Valley Fish & Game Assn. will have an ORV ride on Saturday, Sept. 23. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with operators meeting at 11 a.m. The ride will begin at 12 noon. Registration fee is $25 per vehicle. Be aware that a new Indiana law requires riders/passengers under the age of 18 to wear a helmet. This includes any vehicle deemed an ORV. One-room schoolhouse museum
Take a beautiful scenic fall drive, 4 miles west of Dillsboro to Farmers Retreat. Visit a completely restored, one-room schoolhouse museum. Listed on the National Register of Historical Places, it was restored in 1950 and built in 1888. We invite 4th grade teachers to bring their students for field trips, or any other groups. LifeTime Resources has opened a Senior Nutrition Activity Center at Dillsboro Village Apartments in Dillsboro. Individuals who are 60 or over, and their spouse regardless of age, can enjoy activities and for a donation receive a hot meal Monday through Friday. Christian support group meeting
