Ronald “Ron” Goodpaster

Ronald “Ron” Lee Goodpaster, 80, of Dillsboro passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. Ron was born on November 25, 1942 in Milan; son of Carl and Muriel (Eaglin) Goodpaster.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Ron from 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Military rites will be provided by The American Legion Northcutt-Laaker Post 292 and Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard. A service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM with DJ Gilliland officiating. Memorials may be given to Vietnam Veterans or American Cancer Association.
