Local musician joins Nashville-based band
Elliott Booe and the Impromptus made a trip from Nashville to entertain at Versailles American Legion Post 173 on Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5. The group was the headliner for an event planned to establish a scholarship in Brenda Steele’s name, a long-time legion member who unexpectedly passed away in August. Local musician Adam Spears was invited to join the group on stage to perform “Family Tradition”. Spears is a fan of Booe and the Impromptus and has enjoyed them at previous shows.
