Mary Thomas “Tommye” (Decker) Ashley, 96, of Milan, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Ripley Crossing. Tommye was born on Wednesday, March 23, 1927, in Axtel, Kentucky; daughter of Daniel and Ada (Poole) Decker. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been Tommye’s 97th birthday from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A service will follow at 11:00 with Kathy Englehart officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Tommye to the Dillsboro Emergency Unit.
