Ava Flannery, age 5, was all smiles with the Easter Bunny on Thursday evening at the annual Batesville Chamber Easter Egg Hunt. Parents are Andrea and Stu Flannery.

Class 3A No. 9 Batesville flexed its muscle as part of its 2024 baseball season opener last Friday night and senior Eli Loichinger pitched a no-hitter with ease as part of an opening 13-0 blowout against Rising Sun at home.
