Cheryl Ann (Meyers) Southworth

Cheryl Ann (Meyers) Southworth, age 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Margaret Mary Health Hospital in Batesville, IN. She was born on September 19, 1946, to Gerald and Bonnie Meyers of Milan, IN.

Cheryl was a loving mother and grandmother. She spent her young adulthood working at various group homes and eventually went to work at GECOM where she later retired. She was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible daily. She was a collector of mugs and loved to drink coffee from a different one each day. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching the birds as they ate from her feeders, taking strolls at the park with her family, and scrapbooking all her memories through the years. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her kind soul.

She is preceded by her parents Gerald and Bonnie Meyers and two brothers Tommy and David Meyers. She is survived by three children Faythe (Eric) Ewing, Harold (Kathy) Hyatt, and Jackie Dieng. She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Josh Deffinger; Payten Ewing; Colt (Holly), Jacob, and Elizabeth Hyatt; Octavia (Zachery) Keene; Nick Meyers; and 5 great-grandchildren: Mackinze, Grace, and Landyn Deffinger; Xerxes Keene; and Connor Fields.

There are no services. Memorial contributions can be made to Milan Wesleyan Church.
