Devon Julian Moore
Devon Julian Moore, 22, of Milan passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Devon was born on Friday, December 21, 2001, in Lawrenceburg; son of Robert W. Moore and Kimberly K. (Hunter) Roberts. Devon was an avid gamer and loved to go to amusement parks and water parks. He loved all different types of food and loved animals, especially Mary Lew. Devon was known to have a big heart and was always wanting to help people. Devon most of all loved to spend time with his family.
Devon’s family would like to thank the following groups for their quick response times, great efforts, and acts of kindness towards their family during this difficult time: Milan Fire Department, Ripley County EMS, First Responders, Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, Margaret Mary Hospital, Sunman Police Department, and University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Devon will be missed by his father Robert “Bob” (Fiancée Amy Tiare of Batesville) Moore of Milan; mother Kimberly “Kim” (Dennis) Roberts of Milan; sister Ava Goins of Milan; brother Kelly Forman of Milan; grandparents Charlie and Janet Moore of Milan and Laren “Jim” and Karen Hunter of Milan; uncles Matt (Kindra) Moore of Milan and Tim (Julie) Hunter of Milan; aunt Margaret “Aunt Maggie” (Joe) Nardi of Bloomington and cousins Everett Moore, Makenna Moore, Clayton Hunter, Chloe Hunter, and Mallory Hunter.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Devon from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor LaJo Dunbar and Rev. Debbie Black officiating. Burial will follow at New Cravens Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Devon to the family.
