A1C Carson Fisk continues to soar
Pictured above E-3 Airman Carson Fisk is shown with his Military Training Instructors MTI at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
After graduating from South Ripley High School in 2024 with an associate degree, Carson Fisk continued his education at Indiana Institute of Technology, where he pursued and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in civil engineering.
Driven to continue his education, eliminate student debt, and build a strong financial foundation for the future, he made the decision to enlist in the United States Air Force. His long-term goal is to become a commercial pilot, a career path the Air Force can help him achieve through training and experience.
While awaiting departure for basic training, Fisk remained active in his community, serving as head coach for the South Ripley Junior High soccer team. His leadership and commitment left a positive impact on young athletes and reflected his dedication to giving back to the school that helped shape him.
On January 15, Fisk graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base as an E-3. After getting to spend time with family post-graduation, Fisk was off to tech school for nine weeks at Lackland Air Force Base where he is training to be a Multi-Domain Aviation Controller. This position allows him to be a co-pilot in the cockpit while in charge of radar and technology of the aircraft. He is looking forward to having a flight suit as a uniform and will be flying all over the world for 280 days out of the year.
Military service is also a family tradition. Both his father and brother previously served in the Air Force, further inspiring his decision to follow in their footsteps.
Fisk is the son of Lisa and Mark Taylor, Milan, and Greg Fisk, Versailles.
