An adult painting class, sponsored by the Batesville Memorial Public Library, will be held July 7 from 3-6 p.m. This free workshop led by instructor Debi Black features acrylic painting on canvas with a theme of embracing nature. The annual meeting of the Washington Cemetery Assoc. of Elrod will be held July 12 at 2 p.m. in the Christian Life Center at the Washington Baptist Church. The public is invited.
