An adult painting class, sponsored by the Batesville Memorial Public Library, will be held July 7 from 3-6 p.m. This free workshop led by instructor Debi Black features acrylic painting on canvas with a theme of embracing nature. A book signing with local author Larry Reidy will be held on July 8 from 3-5 p.m. at the Batesville Memorial Public Library. Mr. Reidy will have copies of his new book, “My Quest for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness From 1939-2019”, available for purchase.

The annual meeting of the Washington Cemetery Assoc. of Elrod will be held July 12 at 2 p.m. in the Christian Life Center at the Washington Baptist Church. The public is invited.
