The Friends of the Batesville Memorial Public Library are having their used book and media sale September 12-14. Over 10,000 books, videos, CDs, DVDs and books on tape will be sold from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the library annex building, located at 10 W. Boehringer Street.

It’s red week! Come join us for a storytime full of colors, crafts, stories, and activities. Two sessions are offered. Come at either 10:30 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. Stop in the library during regular business hours to fill out a registration form.

Painting for kids with Sherry Biddle – This class is limited to the first twelve kids, grades 1-6, who sign up. There is a $10 fee for supplies. Stop in the Tyson library during regular business hours to pay and sign up.

The Holton Christian Church will hold it’s annual Homecoming on Sunday, September 15 beginning at 10:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Larry Pittman and a meal will follow the service. All are welcome.
