The Milan 4th of July parade sponsored by the Milan Lions Club will be held at 10 a.m. Free parade registration will be  at 9 a.m. in the Milan HS parking lot.

St. Paul Lutheran Church Olean will be holding vacation bible school Sunday, July 7 through Thursday, July 11 at 6 to 8 p.m. The theme is “Who is My Neighbor?” Classes are for age 1 thru those entering 6th grade. Closing program Sunday, July 14 at 10 a.m. worship service. Everyone welcome.

The Osgood First Baptist Church (124 N. Sycamore Street) will conduct Backyard Bible Club VBS, July 8-12 at 6 to 8 p.m.  A free nightly dinner is included. This is for children who have completed kindergarten to 6th grade.

Summer Explorers program at the Tyson Library from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. for those entering grades 1-3.  Fun, games, crafts, and science while you explore the theme of space travel and the universe.  This week’s theme is “Stars”. Come into the library anytime during business hours to fill out a registration form.

Ripley County Democrats will meet Tuesday, July 9 at the headquarters in Versailles ( 103 W. Tyson St. - on the courthouse square). Dinner at 6 p.m. and meeting at 7 p.m.
