Fun fall festivities in full swing

It was a beautiful day on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 19 for the Batesville Booville Trunk or Treat at the Rom Weber Marketplace. Families from all over came out to enjoy the event. They had lots of candy, refreshments and games for the kids to enjoy.

Hunter’s Moon shines bright in the daytime as well as nighttime

The full moon, also known as the Hunter’s Moon, shone brightly in the morning over a property near Holton when this photo was captured last week. The reflection of nature was shown in the small pond, along with the slightly changing trees. Due to drought, meteorologists say the colors are not as vivid this year as the leaves change in Southeastern Indiana.
