Lots of activity in the county just before Christmas

On the last day of school before the Winter Break, Santa and Mrs. Claus could be found in various places throughout the area, even at South Ripley Elementary School. As the children rounded the corner to enter school there they were! We have on good authority the Clauses know Barry and Cindy Lauber of Holton.

Crossroads Restaurant offers fun this holiday season

Mrs. Claus, the elves and Santa, were on hand to greet and interact with customers at Crossroads Restaurant in Versailles on US 50 last week. They enjoyed welcoming everyone to the event. The restaurant offers a variety of great home cooked meals, along with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and desserts on a daily basis. Greg and Kim Evans celebrated 25 years this December.
