South Ripley names Homecoming Royalty
Pictured are royalty named from South Ripley Homecoming night, February 1. Callie Comer and Heath Comer took the Princess and Prince titles for 2025. They are both sophomores. Chancie Volz and Lilly Jones took the King and Queen title. Other queen candidates included: Kylee Demaree, Ellie Lauber, Hailey Ortiz and Lexi Franklin. Other King candidates included: Blaine Ward, Domingo Ceto-Marcos, Landon Saylor and Jackson McAdams.

SWAT called to Holton residence
In the early morning hours of Tuesday (February 4) police responded to a call for help at a home outside of Holton.

South Ripley Raiderettes Camp
Another successful Raiderettes Recital is in the books. South Ripley Raiderettes offered SR students to come to a week of camp followed by a recital performed in front of friends and family. Coach Faith Lafary, and assisted by Kris Lafary, dedicate many hours throughout the year instructing flags, majorettes, raiderettes and other performing groups. Over 70 young ladies participated in the week to learn the unique talent of twirling batons. Pictured is a group of campers performing a pom pom routine for the crowd learned during the week.
