SCC promotes Fearless Female program

On Friday, March 8, 156 ladies from 11 schools came to Southeastern Career Center to participate in male dominant classes. Pictured is Amy Solly of SCC talking with everyone about the fun filled day planned with classes, prizes and lunch provided for the day.

Milan JAG students excel

Pictured are students who excelled at the Regional Conference with JAG: Shelby Williams placed first in Public Speaking and will move on to the State JAG CDC on March 15; Lydia Linville placed 3rd in Employability Skills; Hunter Scudder placed 3rd in Financial Literacy; Allison Doyle placed 3rd in Critical Thinking; Honorable Mention went to Ellana Jutzi, Outstanding Senior; Grace Bruce, Career Presentation, Logan Burton, Creative Solutions, and Lucas Drew, Writing Skills. Milan JAG Team won for their Recruiting Brochure.

Milan celebrates ‘Read Across America’ Week

Milan Community Schools celebrated Read Across America and SEL Week by having high school students, along with High School Principal Ryan Langferman, read and spend time in Milan Elementary School classrooms. All students enjoyed the opportunity to interact and share their love of reading with each other.
