Citizen advised not to talk about Vital issue at mtg.
At the March 17 meeting of the Ripley County Commissioners, Debbie Donk was there to speak about the issue with Vital Farms buying farmland for expansive chicken farming in Ripley County. County Attorney John Ertel recommended that Ms. Donk not speak on Vital Farms zoning since there is a Board of Zoning Appeals meeting set for April 1, 2025. She did want it on the record that she is against the chicken farm. The zoning meeting will be held in the Ripley County Annex (Commissioners Room) on April 1 at 7 p.m.
