First of several fish frys held at Millhousen Fire Dept.
People rolled in for another successful fish fry at the Millhousen Fire Department, Friday, Feb. 28. The firemen and volunteers had prepared 300 lbs. of fish, 100 breaded tenderloins, fries, baked beans and applesauce. You have the option to dine-in or to-go. There are future dates during Lent for more Friday nights to enjoy. Come out March 14, 28, and April 11 to support the local firemen.

Homecoming royalty crowned at JCD
JCD’s 2025 Homecoming festivities were held Friday, February 28, 2025 as they hosted the South Ripley Raiders and crowned the 2025 Homecoming King, Queen, Prince and Princess between the JV and Varisty games. King places sixth at state finals
Another winter sport and another state championship which featured coverage area flavor. It was a successful weekend inside the IU Natatorium as Oldenburg Academy’s Nash King and Santiago Schutte competed in the IHSAA Boys Swimming State Championship in Indianapolis.
