Batesville prom royalty named

Makenzie Hannebaum and Cole Rudolf were named Queen and King of the Batesville High School 2024 Prom over the weekend. Conner Shields and Kenzie Cox were crowned Prince and Princess.

Crash on US 50 east of Versailles slows morning traffic

Morning work and school traffic could have experienced a slow-down Wednesday morning, April 17 as traffic was stopped at times on US 50 just east of the Versailles Park Hill. While information was not available as of press time, the CRST rig was overturned and the Versailles Fire and Ripley County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene. Dispatchers are always on the clock and dispatched the appropriate emergency personnel to the scene.
