Local duo captures SIRC titles

Championships are not quite over for a pair of recent coverage area high school graduates and Saturday morning saw Milan graduate Ben Riehle and South Ripley alum Lanie Nicholson capture the 2024 Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit Series titles at the Bulldog Chase 5K in Batesville.


Congresswoman Erin Houchin listens to concerns

The Ripley County Chamber of Commerce hosted Congresswoman Erin Houchin on Tuesday morning for a roundtable discussion.
Houchin started by saying, “The best ideas come from the local community,” saying she was there to listen and take concerns and ideas to Washington, DC.


Gilbert family to minister at Washington Baptist

Washington Baptist Church located on Hwy. 50 at Elrod, announces Revival Services with the Jimmy Gilbert Family August 18-22. The family will be providing special music each service, with Bro.
