Over 500 attend New Marion VFD inaugural ride
The recently built New Marion Fire Station was the meeting spot for the department’s first organized jeep and side-by-side ride on Saturday, August 17. 199 units registered and over 500 people participated in the ride.

Holton man arrested on rape, incest charges
According to Indiana State Police a Ripley County man has been arrested and charged with felony sex crimes.
After a warrant was issued for Joel Stoltzfus, 42, Holton, on August 7 for two counts of Rape and two counts of Incest, he was arrested last Thursday, August 15 and booked into the Ripley County Jail.
