The Army recruiters had a booth at the SCC Open House on Thursday, Aug. 22. They have a great support with the SCC with some students proceeding to Military Services and have the opportunity to receive a trade certificate as well during their high school years.

Pictured is Mrs. Janine Stratton with current fifth graders. Last year when they were in her fourth grade class they produced the top scores in the State of Indiana on Math ILearn. She treated the now fifth graders to a pizza party for all their hard work. Mrs. Stratton has been teaching at South Ripley Elementary for 43 years.
