Alfred Sellers, President of the Make A Wish event held on Sat. Aug. 3 looked at the crowd on Sat. with tears in his eyes and said to the public, “These kids are the reasons why we are doing this today and want to thank everyone for supporting it.”

Versailles Town Marshal Joe Mann brought his Tahoe police vehicle to the Department of Child Services for their Touch-a-Truck event last week. The children enjoyed taking turns getting in and out of the backseat of the vehicle as Marshal Mann interacted with them.
