Saying goodbye to a friend
Lt. Randy Holt was laid to rest Tuesday, September 17 with the Indiana Sheriff’s Honor Guard flanking the sides of the Meyers Funeral Home hearse as it passed under the garrison flag twice, once outside of Batesville (Batesville Fire Department) and again at Milan (Milan Fire Department). Indiana Patriot Guard’s local chapter also led the procession that saw numerous units from various police departments, fire and EMS followed by many vehicles to his final resting place at the Cravens Cemetery near Milan. The respect shown for Lt. Holt was evident by the large crowd of uniformed officers and more who came to say goodbye.
