Pumpkin Show sign is in place
Members of the Versailles Lions Club were getting a sign in place at the corner of US 50 and 421 over the weekend for the upcoming Versailles Pumpkin Show. The event will be held September 25-28 on the square in Versailles. Plan now to enjoy the four-day event that will boast one of the biggest parades in the area on Saturday, September 28.

Last Friday night’s Ripley County Bell Game was predicted to be a showdown that would come down to the final horn and that prediction rang true as Class 3A No. 11 Batesville held off Class A No. 8 Milan 27-26 in a classic at “The Teepee.”
