Ripley County Community Foundation grants $114,909.70 during 1st quarter of 2020

The mission of the Ripley County Community Foundation is to provide local nonprofit organizations the opportunity to fulfill projects that will enhance the quality of life in our surrounding communities. During the first quarter of 2020 (January 1 to March 31), $114,909.70 was granted to support various projects around Ripley County. Those grants supported the following service areas: arts, community, education, health, scholarship, and social service.

Get ready for JCD kindergarten

Kindergarten registration for Jac-Cen-Del Elementary School has begun for 2020-2021. Enrollment will not be held in person this year. In order to pre-register, families need to complete the enrollment card found on the registration tab of the elementary webpage

Back Door Friends to give out products

Back Door Friends in Faith, from the Tyson United Methodist Church in Versailles, will be having a drive up giveaway next Thursday, May 14 from 1-2 p.m. If you are in need of household products, the group has been faithful to help as many people as possible. Just come to the front of the Tyson Annex building and you will be taken care of.
