Break-in at Sunman business being investigated
After Ripley Publishing Co. Inc. received an email last week asking about a possible break-in at the MawPaws Fleat Market in Sunman, we checked with the Sunman Town Marshal, Bryan Maynard. He noted that the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office was handling the situation.
This statement was released from the Corporal Adam Hunger of the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, December 30:
“On Sunday, December 15th, 2024 at approximately 11:17 a.m., Ripley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the address of 204 North Meridian street in Sunman, the MawPaws Flea Market. It was reported that the front door glass was broken out and entry made into the store at an unknown time. If anyone has any information in regard to this incident, please contact the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting on scene was Sunman Town Marshal Brian Maynard.”
