Christmas spirit alive in Milan; everyone’s invited

It’s almost time for the magical, fun filled Christmas Night at the Daren Baker Memorial Park for the 5th Annual Milan Christmas Walk on Nov. 30 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. This event is like a ‘lil Metamora’ event if anyone has ever been to something like that. Milan has made this a spectacular event for family and friends to enjoy celebrating the holidays.
Starting off the evening at 5:05pm, the Milan Elementary School second grade will perform their Christmas program on the main stage followed with Brass Ensemble performance at 5:30pm.
Everyone is invited to bring their decorated ATV for the annual Christmas parade at 5:45. If you would like to join, check out Milan Christmas Walk Facebook page for more information. Santa will be making his grand appearance and will be in Santa Land for all the children’s Christmas wishes and checking his list of who has been naughty and nice!
The Christmas Tree lighting will be the light of the celebration at 6:30pm. Milan High School Choir will take the main stage at 6:45pm, bringing their holiday cheer which will be followed by story time with milk and cookies for the children. The finale stage performance will be Brass Ensemble returning at 7:30pm.
This Christmas Walk is a must see for families and friends. It is not only a magical night but is filled with Christmas joy everywhere through the park. There will be food trucks, Cafe’, and a Holiday Marketplace with local vendors. There are so many Christmas Walk attractions to see! The Live Nativity, along with the fire pits, will be set up for the S’mores Stations. Make photo memories at the Snow Globe Photo Shop with everyone. Grab a ride on the trolley that will transport from the Milan High School parking lot. There will also be extra handicap parking at the Milan Middle School parking lot. You can follow Milan Christmas Walk on Facebook for the schedule and updates.
