Hill-Rom employees, supporters protest

Pictured above and below, approximately 100 Hill-Rom employees and supporters lined the street in front of the Batesville facility last Friday, November 5 in the late afternoon and evening. The company announced it will comply with the mandate that requires all federal contractors to meet the January 4 deadline for having their employees fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Hill-Rom is a U.S. Government contractor. Employees were told those who do not comply with this mandate will face termination. Some of the people in the line were protesting what they feel is their right to choose their medical course of action against the pandemic. They feel it’s not up to the government to mandate them and are upset with Hillrom and the whole situation.
