His Hands Ministry was a “thought” a local couple, Terry and Connie Geisler had on their hearts. They wanted to become more involved with procuring products and direct distribution to people in need. Now a regular local food pantry is scheduled for the third Saturday of each month. From 12p (noon) to 3p.
The Geisler’s acquire items and fund this and other ministries both local and abroad “mostly out of pocket” states Connie. The Geisler’s began in 2024 with a borrowed box truck and a desire to deliver items needed to the people – both in a facility and to the streets. Terry describes the borrowed box truck benefactor, Terry Ison (local resident) as, a guy he met through another friend in Osgood.
2024 saw His Hands Ministry outgrow the starting location – across from Rolling Pin Catering. The needed and current facility was offered by Tim Sullivan, local resident. This is both the warehouse and distribution center located at: 1595 S CR 625 E. Milan.
2025 was a busy year as they acquired (through donations) two box trucks they use in conjunction with other ‘Street Ministries’ and entities locally. Terry’s efforts to pick up and deliver to multiple charitable entities – helped to create and bridge resources and deliver a broader range of items to serve more needs.
Connie is hands on management and runs with her granddaughter, Lydia Sons. Lydia is a fierce fund raiser and supporter of the raffles that almost entirely supports the El Salvador Mission. The El Salvador Mission is a hands-on project that requires communication and travel to El Salvador to deliver needed supplies and housing. They currently support four families. A previous raffle was used to benefit the Polar Plunge that Lydia participated in with South Ripley School System.
Gabriel Lippens, the Geisler’s grandson, is also involved with a current fund raiser. These proceeds will help fund a South Ripley Band Trip to a concert at Kings’ Island. ‘Gabe’ also is ever present to assist with loading/unloading supplies to individuals and during procurement with His Hands Ministry.
Through networking, Casey Ragan, Outreach Pastor – www.unnboundministry.org, describes Terry as facilitating “a beautiful mosaic of sources coming together to provide more resources than any one organization can accomplish on their own.” Ragan and Unbound Ministry is committed to return to His Hands Ministry (Milan) to provide more items at a future date (tbd).
