Indian grapplers win Mohawk Invite

Milan wrestling remained unbeaten last Saturday afternoon, traveling to Ohio to best 16 other teams and winning the Mohawk Invitational in Madison, Ohio.

10 Milan wrestlers put up Top 4 finishes in the invitational with three of those wrestlers earning championships. The victory for the Indians follows up a decision win last Wednesday against nearby rival Switzerland County.

Hayden Poole, Matthew Baylor and Kayden McClellan all earned invitational titles on Saturday while Kaleb Wilburn, Cameron Gilb and Kyle Gotts all were runner-up. Logan Williams was third and the trio of Dillan Engel, Jayden Disbro and Carson Betz all finished fourth place on the day.

Milan wrestlers in the Battle of the Bear Den this weekend at Monroe Central High School.
