Milan claims ORVC swim title
The Milan boys and girls swim teams captured the ORVC Championship last weekend, making it six-straight crowns for the Indians in the pool.
The Milan Indians are once again swim champions as the black and gold captured a sixth-straight Ohio River Valley Conference Championship last Saturday at Southwestern (Hanover).
It is a six-peat for both the boys and girls programs and with that came several top performances and personal-best times.
The Lady Indians racked up first place with 107 points while host Southwestern was runner-up at 68 points. Rising Sun followed with 37 points, Switzerland County had 36 points and it was Shawe Memorial and South Ripley rounding out the standings with six points and two points respectively.

Milan scored 103 points in the boys meet and Rising Sun swam second with 72 points. South Ripley took control of third after scoring 51 points and the standings were rounded out by Shawe’s 14 points, Switzerland County’s 10 points and seven points from Southwestern.
