The Milan football program has released its schedule for Friday night’s Black and Gold Night being held at Milan High School.
Black and Gold Night brings the Milan community together for an entire evening of football just prior to the start of the 2024 season. The night includes scrimmages from teams in the youth league ranks, middle school level and high school Indians squad.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. as the fifth and sixth grade Milan football teams take the field and that will be followed by the first, third and fourth grades at 6:30. Youth league action concludes with the second grade black and gold teams at 7:00 and the middle school will follow right after at 8 p.m. Action on the gridiron concludes with the Milan High School gang at 8:30 and that will go until 9:00 to wrap up the night.
Each round of scrimmages will see a 20 to 30 minute warmup period. K-12 pictures will be inserted into the schedule and be taken at 7:30 p.m., just prior to the middle school and high school game times.
The public is invited to attend Black and Gold Night as a preview of what’s to come this fall. Youth league action will once again include a schedule that boasts some of the best squads from Southeastern Indiana and Ohio while the middle school and high school programs continue to prepare for a competitive local slate.
