Pictured above: The Milan Miracle Marker Dedication Ceremony took place Saturday and despite the cold and blustery winds, the cheerleaders from Milan stood with Patty Marshall, cheerleader from the 1954 team. Pictured below: Standley Taylor, pictured left, facing the camera, enjoyed reminiscing about the Milan team after attending school there when he was young.
Pictured above: 1954 star player Bobby Plump left, signs a hat for Ryan Tate, who traveled to Milan on Saturday from Kentucky to allow his daughter, Bailey, 6 1/2, to participate in the dedication. She had special pom poms in Milan colors and was the youngest cheerleader at the event. She is the daughter of Cat and Ryan Tate. She told the Osgood Journal, “My mommy was a cheerleader, too!” The large crowd enjoyed the festivities and heard many speakers.
