Napier arrested at Versailles Motel

Daniel Lee Napier was arrested last Wednesday, April 24 when three police agencies served a warrant at the Moon-Lite Motel in Versailles. Residents saw what they described as “heavy police presence” at the motel located on US 421 in the early afternoon hours.

According to Versailles Town Marshal Joe Mann, he was there to assist the Indiana State Police on a different matter when Napier was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

Napier was initially charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia and taken to the Ripley County Jail.

Also assisting at the scene was the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.
