Summer fun started last week in Batesville at The Plex – Batesville Youth Softball/Baseball organization. Using social distancing, the players, coaches and crowd got off to a good start as the T-ball team, pictured above started learning the curves. The games are being played throughout the week.  Children of all areas in Ripley County could sign up to play ball.

The above photo is the Rookie Black team playing at The Plex-Batesville Youth Softball/Baseball Park. Pictured bottom right are siblings Dreama and Eeyan Craft, just waiting to take their turn on the field. Pictured bottom left in the in-field is Liam Hamer.
