Splash Pad is popular this week…

With the heat soaring on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, The Splash Pad at the Versailles park on the square was a great destination. Crowds were there throughout the afternoon with some kids in the water, some on the swings, some having a picnic lunch and you could even get a bicycle to ride if you wanted. This popular space on the east side of the courthouse in Versailles will also be home to Opening Day of Market on the Square this Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon. Music on the Square series will begin on June 14 with a Country Line Dance night, complete with activities and food starting at 5:30 p.m. On June 21 Back to Square Run will be held with an 8 a.m. start. (See ad inside today’s paper). Register by June 10 for extras! Don’t miss all the fun! Come to the park to enjoy a variety of activities this summer.
