Arlene Suzette Alexander

We are sad to announce that Arlene Suzette Alexander age 72, passed away peacefully at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida on January 24, 2024.

Arlene entered this life on August 16, 1951 in Greensburg Hospital, Greensburg, Indiana. She was the daughter of Paul and Nell Alexander of Napoleon, Indiana (both preceded her in death) and was the second of four siblings.

Arlene Graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School in Osgood, Indiana, class of 1969. Following graduation, she went to work for IBM in Cincinnati, Ohio. While there she met and married Thomas Steward of Versailles, Indiana. They had one child, Shannon who now resides with her husband Jason Hodges, in Cincinnati, Ohio with their two children Sebastion and Piper. In 1996 Arlene met and married Larry Pruitt in Atlanta, Georgia. They have a son, Brandon Pruitt who resides in Largo, Florida.

Arlene also worked at Cummins Inc in Columbus, Indiana prior to moving to Largo, Florida where she worked for the Lincare Company.

Arlene is survived by her two sisters, Pam and her husband Dennis Hurlebaus, Wilmington, North Carolina, Debbie Liming and her husband John, Versailles Indiana and her brother Bob and his wife Diane Alexander, Napoleon, Indiana, her daughter Shannon, son Brandon and grandchildren Sebastion and Piper.

In lieu of funeral services the family request that anyone who wishes to make a memorial donation be made to the American Heart Association in Arlene’s name. The immediate family will celebrate her life, at a later date.
