Ashley Nicole Hunger, 34, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was born in Batesville on January 14, 1991, the daughter of Ronald Hunger and Angela Spennati. Survivors include her children Bentley and Camdyn Hunger and Izabella Richardson; her mother Angela Stauffer of Mountain Home, Idaho; her step-mother Michelle Hunger of Versailles; her sister Jayden Hunger of Versailles; her brothers Trent (Heather) Hunger of Florida and Bryan Rickett of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; step-brothers Mathew (Renee) Workman of Osgood and Mitchell (Lily) Workman of Westfield; companion Zack Richardson of Versailles; step-grandparents Wanda and Gary Walston of Aurora. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Hunger, her aunt Angela Hunger Hoskins, and her grandparents Donald and Polly Hunger Lela Brigelow, and Marlin Spennati. Ashley was a 2009 graduate of South Ripley High School. Ashley was a very caring soul who loved her family and devoted her life to her children. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and playing games with her kids. She never met a stranger and loved her community very much. Ashley was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Olean and served on the Ripley County Soccer Board. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Olean with Rev. Dr. Evangeline Anderson-Rajkumar officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery at Olean. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Angela Hoskins Memorial Fund or Matt’s Mission in care of the funeral home.
