Berneta Joy (Shinkle) Wafford, 80, of Dillsboro passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Envive Healthcare in Lawrenceburg with her loving family by her side.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Berneta from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Dearborn Baptist Church: 9638 IN-48, Aurora, IN 47001. Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Shinkle and Pastor Darrell Sparks officiating. Burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Berneta to Dearborn Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
