Cathy Smith

Visitation for Cathy Smith will be held on October 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Bear Creek Baptist Church, 5970 E. State Rd. 62, Friendship, IN 47021, with a service to follow. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her as a loving family member, a caring friend, and a kind-hearted individual whose legacy of love and service will endure.

Catherine Elizabeth Smith, 53, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Georgetown, TX. Known affectionately as Cathy, she was born on October 24, 1970, to Deloris and Russell Smith.

She leaves behind a loving family: her husband Mike W. Smith; her son Jerry D. Ward and his wife, Marissa; grandchildren Oaklyn and Jerry J. Ward; mother-in-law Della M. Smith; siblings Frank Smith and his wife Tanya, Doris Stouder, and Gordon Smith and his wife, Nelyn. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Deloris and Russell Smith, and her brothers Steve, Larry, Russ, and John Smith.
