David Cizek

David Cizek, 50, of Versailles, passed away at 5:40 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg. He was born in Chicago on June 8, 1970, the son of Norman and Florence Nicosia Cizek. Survivors include step-sisters Marge Martin of Versailles and Lucy Halverson of Huntley, Illinios; his nieces Debi Pavey of Dillsboro and Anna Stroeberl of Carol Stream, Illinois; also 8 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Cizek attended Proviso West High School in Hillside, Illinois. David was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears and enjoyed doing puzzles and coloring. He was a resident of the Waters of Dillsboro and loved the staff and living there.

David’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles has been entrusted with the arrangements.
