Dennis “Hammer” Wayne McMurray, 65, of Dillsboro passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side. 
Family and friends gathered in remembering Hammer from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the Hudson Hall, 7249 Walnut St., Friendship, Indiana 47021. A service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 with Pastor Sherman Hughes officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Farmers Retreat. Memorials may be given in honor of Hammer to the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery or the family to defray funeral expenses.
