Freda Kaiser

Freda Kaiser, 87, of Milan passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Freda was born Monday, May 18, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Hiram Sr. and Nancy (Combs) Poore. She married William “Bill” Kaiser April 13, 1956 and he survives. She worked at Monsanto as a former Corporate Secretary; former member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lawrenceburg; member of Versailles Chapter 333, Order of the Eastern Star; former member of the National Secretaries Association and former Rosie Red.

Freda is survived by husband Bill, daughter Connie Branigan; brother: Kenneth “Kenny” (Debbie) Poore all of Milan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Fred Poore and Hiram Jr. Poore; sister Christina Poore; son-in-law Robert “Bob” Branigan.

A service celebrating her life was held Saturday 1 p.m. January 26, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial followed at Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given in honor of Freda to Eastern Star, Versailles Chapter 333 or Ripley Crossing Activity Fund. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
