Gary W. Trowbridge, 55, of Friendship passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at his home. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 29, 1969, the son of Ron and Deanna Robbins Trowbridge. Survivors include his mother Deanna Trowbridge of Versailles; one daughter Robin (Charles) Williams of Seymour; grandchildren Jasper, Oliver, and Adalynn Williams; one brother Bryan (Terri) Trowbridge of Versailles; one sister Kari (Fred) Barger of East Enterprise. He was preceded in death by his father, and his niece Khristy Taulbee. Mr. Trowbridge was a 1987 graduate of South Ripley High School. He worked with his parents operating Ron Dee Printing in Versailles and had also worked at Carl Dyer’s Moccasins in Friendship. He retired this year from American Axle Manufacturing in North Vernon where he worked as a quality control inspector. Gary was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church in Friendship and the Versailles Masonic Lodge as well as the Royal Arch Masons. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles starting at 5 p.m. with masonic services at 7 p.m., followed by funeral services with Rev. Sherman Hughes officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Akers Cemetery in Friendship. Memorials may be given to the Versailles Masonic Lodge or the Friendship Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
