George F. Mehlon

George F. Mehlon, age 73 of Batesville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born June 10, 1950, in Batesville, he is the son of George A. and Virginia (Nee: Lamppert) Mehlon.  He married Yvonne Gauck on September 11, 1971, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville. George was an Engineer at Delta Faucet for 45 years, before retiring in 2015.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne of Batesville; daughter Gwen (Mike) Reverman of Batesville; sons Chad (Cara) Mehlon of Carmel, Indiana and Brad (Jenny) Mehlon of Batesville; sister Melissa (Elly) Musleh of Carmel; brothers Randy (Julie) Mehlon of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mick (Mary) Mehlon and Gerry (Amy) Mehlon, all of Batesville; grandchildren Cassie, Hunter, Karly, Ava Rae, Lily, Nathan, and Ethan; great granddaughter Za’Kira and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his stillborn daughter April Ann Mehlon and brother Gerald Mehlon.
