Gregory Charles Leiker

Gregory Charles Leiker

Gregory Charles Leiker, a kind and quiet soul who was known for his sharp, sarcastic wit, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 30, 2025, at the age of 47. A resident of Osgood, Indiana, Greg was born on September 10, 1977, in Garden City, Kansas, to Donald and Dawn Leiker.
Greg graduated from Garden City High School in 1996, and in recent years was a valued colleague as a dedicated diesel mechanic for the Ripley County Highway Department. He was a man of few words but found great joy in his hobbies, especially photography. He loved capturing life through his lens, and his favorite subject was his nephew, Shawn, whose sporting events he documented with pride. He also treasured time spent with loved ones, enjoying movies and sharing laughs.
Greg is survived by his sister, Miki (Troy) Riehle of Dillsboro, Indiana; his nephew, Shawn Riehle; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dawn Leiker, and his grandparents.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday, September 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 3114 E. Co. Rd. 250 S., Dillsboro, IN. A burial will be held in Kansas at a later date. The family requests that in place of flowers, donations be made to the Randy Riehle Memorial Scholarship, mailed to Miki Riehle at 3114 E. Co. Rd. 250 S., Dillsboro, IN 47018.
