Joan M. Porten

Joan M. Porten, 84 of Plainfield, IN passed away July 25, 2021. Joan was born in Napoleon, IN on June 15, 1937 to Leonard J. and Irene (Wingham) Meyer. Joan was a registered nurse retiring from Methodist Hospital in 1999 and she also worked as a private duty nurse from 1986 through 2009.

She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church where a funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 07, 2021 at 11 am with calling one hour prior to the service. Joan is survived by her children, Beth (Michael) Porten-Hines and David (Michelle) Porten; 2 grandchildren, Maria and Sean; 2 brothers, Richard (Janet) and Bruce (Janice) Meyer.
