John Evan Buchanan

Mr. John Evan Buchanan, age 70, of Madison, Indiana passed away on Thursday July 7, 2022 of cardiac arrest in the emergency room at Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital. John grew up the youngest of the seven sons born to Gordon and Leila Buchanan. In 1972, Buchanan served in South Vietnam with the 196th Brigade, The Americal Division.

His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Friends and family may visit Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A final salute will be conducted at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre with military honors to follow at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana and will be provided by the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion.
