John died on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 9:23 a.m. at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, by Neal Stewart at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment followed in the Caledonia Cemetery near Moorefield, Indiana. Friends visited Friday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
